    About the course

  • We provide a tired old chair in need of TLC
  • Strip it down to it's bare frame and paint using your choice of Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan
  • Rebuild the chair seat using jute webbing, hessian and fire retardant calico 
  • Cover your chair with your own fabric
  • Take your finished chair (and a huge smile) home with you!                                                                              
  • The upholstery workshops are great fun and a real source of inspiration. The skills learnt on this fun day can be transferred to many small items of furniture - once you start the sky is the limit!

    We provide the following:

    • The chair for you to work on
    • All paint and upholstery tools
    • A delicious light lunch
    • Tea, coffee and lovely cakes!

      Please note you will need to bring half a metre of your own fabric with you to cover the chair.

      In addition to the above you will receive 10% off all Annie Sloan products at Henley Vintage and Interiors on the day.

      The workshops are led by Julie – Julie has been an Annie Sloan stockist for over eight years, is passionate about interiors and has been trained by Annie in Oxford.
